We are seeking a talentedSenior Solutions Engineer (SSE)with a high level of technical skill, experience with sales cycles, and the ability to architect multi-product complex solutions. Reporting directly to the Head of Solutions Engineering, this individual has a strong understanding of the sales process and is knowledgeable of different forces at work which ultimately may affect a sales opportunity 

Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as a technical escalation/decision point for the immediate team, assisting the Head of Solutions Engineering with staff related issues, challenges, and procedures 
  • Participate in Telesign certifications including but not limited to: Franklin-Covey, LMS self-paced trainings, Presentation Skills training, Presales workshops, and Certified Engineering training.  
  • Maintain awareness of all major operations, opportunities and engagements in your region. 
  • Manage proof on concept from start to finish collaborating with other Telesign teams when needed.  
  • Serve as a leader among the smaller sales teams, primarily focused on advisory services partners or commercial accounts. 
  • Assist with partner development from a technical perspective and conduct custom trainings for partners and/or end user clients as well. 
  • Track feature enhancement requests, defect/bug fixes and also communicates with Product Operations and Product Managers the needs of the team. 
  • Delivers company wide, regional webinars or panels/presents at marketing events. 
  • Contribute to Telesign’s Product Operation roadmap and statement of direction. 
  • Occasionally publish blog entries, knowledge base articles, and whitepapers serving as an industry thought leader and participate in industry events.  

Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of experience in pre/post-sales, solution and/or sales engineering. 
  • Familiarity with Saas, B2B, IT, or similar industries. 
  • A track record of achieving technical closure reliably, meeting of revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).  
  • Industry certifications focused on telecommunications, investigations, information governance and cyber security. 
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira systems 
  • Strong understanding of Telesign products and where they fit, how to optimize them, manage their limitations and knows how to architect multiple product solutions for partners and customers.

We assess your specific job family, level, relevant skills, experience, location and other special trainings, experiences, or accomplishments you bring to the position. Pay decisions are also guided by our financial means as well as analyzed against what others earn internally. We strive to pay competitively and offer market differentiated benefits and perquisites in line with our compensation philosophy. Telesign’s good faith estimate for this position is $74,440 - $156,100 + bonus + benefits. This range is a reflection of many similar like positions and your actual compensation may not be at the high or low end of the range but will be based on your unique skills and other criteria mentioned.
