This role is hybrid with 3 days in office (Cracow, Poland)

The Basics:

Tanium is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst, to support the growth of Tanium’s Sales organization, focusing primarily on the Commercial segment. The right candidate must have the ability to both think strategically and execute operationally. We are looking for individuals that can provide consistency and governance to the sales team and have the initiative to provide deal support and approvals.

In this role, you will roll up your sleeves to partner with Sales Teams to ensure transactions are in line with Tanium pricing guidelines for the segment. Finally, you will need to have strong business partnership skills, demonstrated by the ability to communicate clearly, and build a strong relationship with your business partners.   

What you’ll do:

  • Review and approve submitted transaction quotes against Tanium Bookings Policy and Pricing guidelines for the Americas Commercial region.  
  • Meet and exceed SLA's for approval timelines   
  • Provide Sales with a general level of helpdesk support regarding all commercial deals   
  • Assist Sales with correcting quote mistakes and pricing adjustments   
  • Work with onshore Deal Desk team to improve the quoting process 

We’re looking for someone with:

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), or relevant work experience  
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales-partnering role (Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Quote Operations)   
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ (or other CPQ application), and Excel (or equivalent collaborative spreadsheet app)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to the team  
  • Strong understanding of the Quote-to-Cash Cycle

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.  
  • Experience with SaaS licensing models is a plus  
  • Experience working with Field Sales teams
