As a Bid Ops Optimization Engineer working on the Publisher Professional Services team in São Paulo, you will be responsible to proactively identifying optimization opportunities via complex data sets, conducting configurations necessary to improve performance, managing support/ break fix escalations, and working closely with Account Managers, RnD and Product to scale and support activity.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering, 3rd level support, technical account management or similar role within the AdTech industry
  • Solid understanding of web front-end technologies including JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging data trends to identify opportunities and formulate actionable strategies for performance enhancement
  • Ability to monitor and resolve technical issues with existing integrations. Advanced troubleshooting capabilities, including diagnosing and resolving technical bidder issues.
  • Proficiency in SQL and extracting and analyzing data from databases to derive insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Nice to haves include:

  • Experience with programmatic and ad tech serving platforms
  • Familiarity with running A/B tests and web analytics programs
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools
  • Background or experience in UX
  • Client facing experience

How you’ll make an impact:

As a Bid Ops Optimization Engineer, you’ll bring value by:

  • Managing day-to-day ad operations tasks: proactively explore data, dashboards and conduct and ensure account health checks to discover opportunities to optimize and improve our publishers' performance. 
  • Identifying novel optimization opportunities and implement them into a systematic daily workflow. 
  • Leading the development and execution of AB testing and optimization initiatives across all business units.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point for issues as they arise from our business teams across the globe. 
  • Utilizing data and research from various sources to establish testing parameters and interpret test outcomes. 
  • Translating qualitative and quantitative test results into actionable business insights and relay them to Account manager and clients.
  • Working in a diverse global team towards optimizing existing and new accounts: Conversing daily with Account managers, Product RnD and directly with clients
  • Collaborating closely with Product teams to support decision-making during the rollout of new features.
  • Supporting the complex alerts, and perform in-depth troubleshooting including DB analysis and reading system logs to identify and solve issues that were escalated by the 1st level monitoring support team
  • Sharing the knowledge - Write technical notes and troubleshooting procedures to be used by the entire support organization
