What does a Client Development Representative do?
The Client Development Representative has a crucial role focused on driving the growth of our staffing business. As the initial point of introduction to potential clients, the CDR is responsible for prospecting, identifying new opportunities, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and securing contracts. This role requires working closely with the Business Development team and Marketing to manage targeted lead lists and create outreach campaigns. Success in this position involves achieving individual performance goals while upholding our core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline to expand business within the assigned territory
- Pinpoint and assess new client sales leads and expansion opportunities
- Utilize internal and external data to identify potential clients ideal for our services
- Conduct phone calls and manage email campaigns to uncover business opportunities in order to build a pipeline
- Reconnect with clients who have not worked with us in a year or more
- Establish and develop relationships with hiring managers at all levels within the healthcare industry
- Work closely with Business Development Directors and Client Services Managers to implement sales strategies and close contracts
- Set up sales meetings with key stakeholders with CSM or BD Director weekly
- Present features and benefits tailored to meet clients’ needs and handle objections
- Develop and expand existing client needs by targeting additional lines of business not currently under contract
- Contribute to a high-morale, motivated, and teamwork-driven environment
- Other duties as assigned
What you will need to possess to succeed?
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred
- Some experience in a sales environment is preferred
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills. Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills
- Proficient with corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office suite). Experience with CRM systems like HubSpot Sales or SalesLoft Cadence is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capable of managing time effectively and being self-motivated to generate a pipeline
- Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner. Ability to multi-task effectively
- The highest level of honesty and integrity
- Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/training as required
- Must be able to work for prolonged periods sitting, typing, and using the phone and computer
- Able to manage time effectively, work independently & remote, and be self-motivated to generate pipeline

Salary Range: $55,000 + Bonus
