Steel Point Solutions is actively recruiting skilled professionals to join our mission in supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), EDI Transformation Implementation. We are seeking individuals passionate about making a difference by contributing to the IRS’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Transformation Implementation.

Task / Responsibilities

· Serve as the Deputy Program Manager support delivery of services across the contract.

· Organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of client (HR, EDI, EEO, etc.) according to client’s requirements

· Meet with assigned clients when needed to perform and support the initial assessment of a problematic situation as it relates to EDI implementation

· Lead and Facilitate Working Group Sessions to establish action plans, provide stakeholder updates, and identify key performance indicators to measure progress.

· Collect information about EDI implementation issues and/or best practices through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports, etc.)

· Analyze and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the causes

· Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to the client’s wishes, capabilities, and limitations forming concise reports

· Present findings and suggestions to team and clients with ample justification and practical advice

· Develop detailed plans to drive small or radical changes

· Assist the team and/or client in implementing the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies

· Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues.

Skills:

· Proven experience as business consultant or equivalent

· Knowledge of diverse business matters such as Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Change Management, etc.

· Proficiency in MS Office

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

· Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills

· Aptitude in creative problem-solving

· Ability to operate changes on your own and as part of a group

· Comprehensive knowledge of business management principles, procedures, and systems

Education / Experience:

• BS/BA in business administration or relevant field; MS/MA in a specialized business field will be an advantage

• 8+ years of consulting experience.

• Project Management Professional a plus.

• Certified Management Consultant is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Proficiency in using advanced tools and software, like project management software, to manage change processes

• Extensive knowledge of change management principles

• Organizing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion principles and practices

• Ability to travel occasionally as required.
