We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for our Platform team, which aims to provide a service platform on top of which all product team services run.

This is a hybrid role working from our New York office 2-3 days per week. You will report to the Platform Engineering Team Manager.

You'll Get To…

Collaborate with a team of highly skilled platform engineers to maintain and expand Acuity Scheduling's services platform.
Design and build the next-generation service platform using industry-leading practices and emerging technologies to support Acuity Scheduling's growth.
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to architect and enhance compute platform capabilities, enabling efficient application development and iteration to support business needs.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Take part in an on-call rotation to uphold platform health and operational excellence.

Who We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in platform engineering or SRE roles, working with programming languages such as Python, Golang
BS or MS in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, especially in public cloud environments like EKS, GKS, or AKS and administering Kubernetes clusters.
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Argo, Drone, or similar.
Knowledge of platform observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
An analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex business challenges with technology.

Cash Compensation Range: $128,500 - $207,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.
