Under limited direction, the Field Service Representative (FSR) will be responsible for the optimization of the Army Energy Program’s metering and control systems, and for training Energy Specialists on those systems.
The Field Service Representative will work with Facilities and Maintenance Directors at Army installations around the country to address mechanical and control issues for buildings and facilities under the responsibility of the Army. The FSR will write detailed daily reports pertaining to jobsite milestones and perform inspections and testing of utility monitoring systems.
*This position will require roughly 25% travel.*
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide customer support and work with the project engineers, other system engineers, and end-users to assist in developing cost effective methods for an efficient Utility controls design and system solution
Work with essential/key team members to understand their system requirements to ensure the correct IP infrastructure, points list, critical alarms, and scaling set points are integrated as designed
Properly addressing TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications across multiple protocols including BACnet, Lon, Modbus, and others
Required Skills & Experience
Clearance Required: Secret
BS or BA degree and 3-10 years of experience
Additional experience may be substituted for a degree
FSR experience, preferably with one or more of the following programs/software:
Johnson Controls: METASYS
Tridium: Niagara Framework, JACE 8000 Controllers
Rockwell Automation: Factory Talk
Schneider Electric: PowerLogic, Struxureware
Siemens: Apogee Building Automation
Inductive Automation: Ignition
Eaton Networks: Field Servers
BACnet
Must have good knowledge and understanding of Utility Control Systems
Must understand electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams, control diagrams, prints, and building operations
Good understanding of electrical theory
Good knowledge of ICS, SCADA, BMS, PLC, and Metering systems and how they operate
Expert level user of Microsoft PowerPoint
Must be willing to travel 25% of the time within the continental U.S.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with IT/OT in an operational environment is preferred

$65,100—$108,500 USD
