Working as part of the team, the successful candidate will be supporting users both locally and remotely, providing support to staff at all levels of the organization regarding tasks including but not limited to installation, repair and upgrade of end user hardware and software, corporate server support, new staff induction training, and managing meeting rooms and associated equipment. An excellent Internal IT Administrator must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be client-oriented and patient to deal with clients that are less technical.

The goal is to create value for clients that will help preserve the company’s reputation and business. The successful candidate will be joining a global support team.

 

What you’ll be doing.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for hands-on, email, ticket, and phone-based support.
  • Maintain all meeting rooms, client engagement suite, and Self-Service AV equipment.
  • Administration of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Intune.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions for all hardware and software related issues.
  • Processing incidents, service requests and problems within clearly defined processes best practice.
  • Managing assets in our CMDB.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and creation of process and support documentation.
  • Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved.

What does it take to succeed in this role?

  • Proficiency in English
  • Occasional overtime, out of hours work and the flexibility to work at other locations is required from time to time.
  • Preferred Microsoft certifications
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal notice
  • Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
  • Proficiency with a MAC and Windows PC computers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

The right person for this role will have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in any IT related course
  • Minimum 2 years of IT support experience.
