We are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer with:

Experience: Proficiency in backend development and cloud-native architectures.
Problem-Solving: Ability to design scalable solutions for high-volume event streams and mitigate security risks in real-time.
Collaboration: Excellent team collaboration skills to integrate and enrich data streams.
Innovation: A proactive approach to improving systems and driving SentinelOne's growth.

What will you do?

You will play a crucial role in the architecture, design, and implementation of a sophisticated, multi-disciplinary Cloud-native Security software platform. This platform will handle hundreds of millions of events daily through a Kafka pipeline, integrating with various cloud providers. Your responsibilities will include designing and integrating with multiple services to enrich data, enabling real-time detection of misconfigurations and potential security risks.
You will have a significant impact on SentinelOne's growth by contributing to a system that serves thousands of users (security specialists at enterprise & government customers across the globe, incl. at 4 or Fortune10 or hundreds of Global 2000) and ensures robust security across diverse cloud environments.
About the team: You will join a global, multidisciplinary team of backend, frontend and automation engineers (spread across Israel, Czechia, India and US). We operate in an agile environment using Scrum methodologies, fostering collaboration and innovation to deliver high-quality security solutions.

Your stack: Golang (cca 60% of your work), Python (typically for but not limited to APIs; we use e.g. Flask, Gunicorn etc.), ocassionally you might come across other programming languages for debugging purposes; Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis; Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS & GCP across 5 cloudregions; GitHub Actions, ArgoCD; Prometheus, Grafana

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a well-regarded university OR equivalent experience from well-renowned companies
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in development using preferrably Go or Python; or Java/C++/other
Ability to quickly dive into new products and understand their inner workings
Self-driven individual, able to liaison with multiple internal teams and drive end-to-end development efforts
Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP

It would be great if you have experience with /or You’d learn & gain on our team

Kafka eco-system (pub/sub, Kafka connect, etc.) - big advantage
Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with large-scale management systems and performance

What we offer you

Salary from 4000 EUR/month.
Yearly % bonus depending on the performance of the company, paid out in 2 installments.
*The final base salary component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
