What are we looking for?

The IT Endpoint Manager is responsible for overseeing the deployment, management, and maintenance of endpoint devices within the organization. This role ensures that all desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other endpoint systems are effectively managed to maintain security, performance, and compliance with company policies. The IT Endpoint Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure endpoint solutions meet the organizational needs and support business objectives.

What will you do?

  1. Endpoint Management:
    • Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of endpoint devices.
    • Manage endpoint security policies with encryption, patch management, and other controls.
    • Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
    • Provide third party patching for software on the endpoints
  2. Policy and Compliance:
    • Develop and enforce policies and procedures for endpoint management.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure endpoints are compliant with security policies.
  3. Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Provide second and third-level support for endpoint-related issues.
    • Provide work instructions and other aids for the helpdesk (L1) and mid support staff (L2).
    • Provide automation to improve support of end points
    • Provide KB articles and support videos to enable users to support themselves
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Coordinate with vendors for support and warranty services.
  4. S1 on S1
    • Manage the S1 solutions on the endpoint
    • Provide feedback to product development 
    • Test new products on endpoint
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work with IT team members to design and implement endpoint strategies.
    • Collaborate with other departments to understand their endpoint needs and provide appropriate solutions.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders about endpoint management policies and procedures.
  6. Inventory and Asset Management:
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of all endpoint devices.
    • Manage lifecycle processes, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of endpoint devices.
    • Track and manage software licenses and ensure compliance.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in endpoint management.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
    • Conduct training sessions for end-users and IT staff on endpoint management practices.

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT endpoint management or a related role with at least 4 years of management experience..
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint management tools and technologies (e.g., SCCM, Intune, JAMF).
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience with scripting and automation for endpoints
  • Understanding of endpoint security best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a multi-site or large enterprise environment.
