What are we looking for?
The Windows Validation team is seeking an experienced automation engineer with a passion for code, quality and also cybersecurity. People who start by understanding the product’s “guts” and then find ways to beat it.
We're looking for a new team member who believes in automation and quality, is versatile and knows exactly how to improve processes and make them more efficient to make sure we have an award winning Endpoint protection product, awarded 3x in-a-row as Gartner MQ Leader (and that is capable of handling billions of events daily from the tens of millions of endpoints we protect among enterprises & public sector across the globe, incl. 4 of Fortune 10 and hundreds of Global 2000).
What will you do?
- Enhance and maintain automation tests and infrastructure.
- Work closely with other automation engineers and developers to design and implement automation tests in all components of our product with the main focus on Windows OS agent (E2E from lowlevel agent to backend, infra, APIs etc., or also agent desktop app UI)
- Develop (Python/Pytest), adjust and execute automatic tests, analyze results to ensure existing functionality, actively report and consult with development engineers to resolve problems, and recommend corrective actions.
- Planning, implementing and executing tests - from design to release.
What experience or knowledge should you bring?
- 4+ years of proven experience in test automation - developing tests using Python
- Testing software products on complex systems with system test orientation
- Ability to reproduce issues and work closely with development to resolve such
- Debugging experience and ability to investigate and triage difficult problems (such as code related to Windows kernel and OS internals, large-scale systems, protection against cyberthreats etc.)
- Experience in SW validation methodologies and concepts, testing and integration
- Strong self-management capabilities: proactive, initiative, self-learner, team player
- Experience with building and maintaining Jenkins jobs (or alternative)
- Familiarity with VMWare (or other virtualizations)
It’d be great if you have experience with / or You’d learn & gain on our team:
- Knowledge of Pytest, multi-processes/threads
- Experienced with testing infrastructure development
- Knowledge of Windows OS internals or administration or developing for Windows platform or Windows environment testing
- Big plus - previous exp. in testing cybersecurity or agent-based SW products written in C++
- Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure
