Your Impact  

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will make outbound calls to potential clients who have expressed interest in learning more about SeekOut or appear to be strong potential customers based on market research. The SDR qualifies prospective customers through targeted questions around their sourcing and recruiting needs. This position spends roughly 80% of the time prospecting. This role will receive hands-on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. This opportunity is a great way for individuals to gain in-depth sales experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.   

What You’ll Do   

  • As a Sales Development Representative, you will handle inbound inquiries from a variety of channels, including website, chat, phone, email, and other sources 
  • Prospect for new business, determine if sales leads are qualified, and schedule sales meetings for the Account Executive (AE) teams, building trust and rapport that results in qualified opportunities 
  • Make outbound calls, send emails and social touches to prospects who have expressed interest in learning more or would like to see a demo of the SeekOut platform 
  • Evaluate propensity to buy and forward qualified potential leads to the Enterprise Account Executives to pursue 
  • Schedule discovery appointments between prospects and Account Executives 
  • Share information about SeekOut and ask questions about the prospect's hiring tools and needs 
  • Record prospect information in CRM database (Salesforce)  

What You Bring   

  • Experience working as a Sales or Business Development Representative, or similar role, within a Sales Organization of a SaaS company  
  • Required: Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the hiring landscape. 
  • Ability to tailor messaging to prospective clients via written and verbal communication 
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to prioritize time to meet weekly deadlines 
  • A university degree or relevant work experience 
  • A motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented nature 
  • The ability to form strong business relationships through consultative sales approaches 
  • Business development success through effective use of core sales tools such as: Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn, Tableau, ZoomInfo, Google Apps, Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to communicate concisely 
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, multitask, and work independently 
  • Growth mindset with the ability to work through ambiguity

Base Salary: $62,504 annually
