The Brokerage product finance team supports the largest P&L at Robinhood. We oversee all financial aspects of Robinhood's core trading & interest margin products in Brokerage including: equities, options, margin lending, securities lending, uninvested cash, and more.

As a Brokerage Finance & Strategy (F&S) summer intern, you will collaborate with Brokerage finance leads to provide financial insights to the business and drive sound financial decisions. This position will assist in linking business and operational decisions with financial outcomes, playing a direct role in setting and tracking revenue targets and keeping leadership advised of key trends. A successful intern will be able to build insightful financial models, dashboards and presentations that are ready for executive-level consumption to drive strategic decisions across the Brokerage business.

The ideal intern will demonstrate ability to support decision making in a constantly evolving finance tech environment. This role requires someone who can navigate ambiguity, juggle multiple projects, and most importantly, be accountable for the accuracy of the data being presented.

This role is based in our Menlo Park or New York offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

  • Synthesize and distill financial data and provide important insights for leadership
  • Partner closely with business partners from product management, engineering, legal, partnerships, and accounting to evaluate new products, communicate performance vs. budgets and forecasts and ideate action items
  • Prepare key financial decks weekly, monthly and quarterly and highlight actionable trends and insights for Brokerage product team leads
  • Ad-hoc projects to ensure a high level of data fidelity to support forecasting (working closely with Accounting, procurement & business)
  • Construct P&L, unit economic and cash flow models and summarize finance recommendations for business partners
  • Assist in improving and simplifying processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions to support the next wave of Robinhood’s growth

What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in business, finance, economics or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2026/Spring 2027
  • Strong project management skills and ability to complete challenging tasks collaboratively in complex environments.
  • Ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written comms, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
  • Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics, and the business judgment to balance the details while not losing sight of the big picture
  • Mastery of spreadsheets and presentation software, such as Google Sheets, Google slides, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A positive attitude. This means a desire to work hard, be creative, stay curious, and maintain a can-do approach

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
