The Opportunity:
Revolution Medicines is seeking a Senior Director of Commercial FP&A to join our growing Finance team. The Senior Director of Commercial FP&A will act as the key financial business partner for our growing Global Commercialization organization and support Global Commercial Development, US Commercial Development, and Medical Affairs teams. This role reports to the VP, FP&A.
Responsibilities include:

Lead Global Commercialization organization’s budgeting and forecasting cycles, working in collaboration with key functional heads to develop and align on budget assumptions and inputs.

Be a thought leader and partner with Global Commercialization leadership and Finance leadership teams to drive sound financial decisions and operational efficiencies across areas of responsibility.

Build and maintain strong cross-functional business partnerships to forecast and track activities by embedding finance into strategic decision-making processes.

Collaborate with various levels of senior and financial management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare operating budgets and financial forecasts during planning cycles (e.g., annual budget, mid-year re-forecast, launch planning, etc.)

Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects to inform and direct global and US commercial strategy, providing timely and accurate financial insights supported by robust financial analysis, proactive recommendations, and influential delivery.

Lead development and preparation of monthly internal financial management reporting packages and commercial profit/loss reports for the global and US organizations, closely working with ex-US Finance colleagues to streamline overall approach and business rules across different regions.

Oversee and direct monthly variance analysis of actuals to budget.

Hire, coach, and mentor direct reports and adjacent team members as they continue to develop professional and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

CPA or MBA preferred.

10+ years’ experience in biopharmaceuticals finance/FP&A with progressive leadership growth, including 5+ years of managerial experience.

Experience with commercial product launch and global expansion preferred.

Working knowledge of GAAP.

Excel expertise with modeling experience, PowerPoint proficiency.

Extensive experience utilizing financial systems and other business intelligence tools.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail and accuracy.
