Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
Revolution Medicines’ Cancer Biology group is looking for a talented, creative, and motivated scientist with a strong background in chemical biology, biochemistry, and cell biology to support early target discovery, screening, and validation efforts for novel oncology programs. The successful applicant will join the Chemical Biology and Proteomics team within Discovery Biology. They will work in a cross-functional team with chemists, cell, and structural biologists and utilize a wide array of molecular biology, biochemical and cellular assays to identify and validate novel targets for RevMed’s unique molecular glue platform. They will help inform and support high-throughput screening efforts and work closely with the mass spectrometry team to support MS-based proteomics workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a number of biochemical and cellular assays, expertise in assay development and troubleshooting, as well as a strong background in cancer biology and novel oncology targets.
