Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers.  The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

 The Opportunity:

 As a Research Associate II/Senior Research Associate in Cancer Pharmacology, Translational Research you will:

  • Design, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo orthotopic studies alongside experienced cancer pharmacology and translational scientists.

  • Carry out pre-clinical model development and characterization of novel orthotopic models, including optimizing in vivo imaging techniques (ultrasound and micro-CT), conducting surgical orthotopic implantation (e.g., spleen, pancreas, colon, and lung) etc.

  • Interface with cross-functional project team members, and participation in and presentation at project team meetings and cross-departmental team meetings.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • BS or MS in Biology or Pharmacology related discipline.

  • Some research experience with mouse models and small animal surgery is highly desired.

  • Computer literacy, especially proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • The ability to work independently on day-to-day responsibilities and research goals.
