Overview:

We are seeking a leader who blends strategy and business intelligence to drive growth and profitability. This individual will own the design of pricing and unit economic models, build forecasting engines to guide strategic decisions, and ensure BI infrastructure and reporting empower the entire organization to act on insights. A key mandate will be consolidating our currently disparate BI network into a unified, scalable system. They will serve as both a strategic thought partner to executives and a hands-on builder of analytics capabilities, while growing and mentoring a high-performing team.

This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates, with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Modeling & Pricing: Design, test, and refine pricing models; develop unit economic frameworks (CAC, LTV, margin structures, payback periods); advise executives on strategic tradeoffs through scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.

  • Forecasting & Decision Support: Build and maintain forecasting engines for revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and cost structures; partner with Finance and Operations to align models with planning cycles; provide recommendations for market entry, pricing changes, and capital allocation.

  • Business Intelligence Leadership: Oversee BI infrastructure and centralized reporting; consolidate and streamline a disparate BI network; ensure consistent metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks; maintain data governance and accessibility standards.

  • Team Leadership & Influence: Mentor and develop analysts; partner with Finance, Product, Marketing, and Operations to embed insights in decision-making; translate complex analyses into clear, actionable strategies for executives and the board.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8-12+ years in strategy, analytics, pricing or BI roles
  • Proven ability to combine strategic thinking with technical BI expertise
  • Strong modeling and forecasting skills with mastery of Excel/Sheets, SQL & BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power PI)
  • Advanced analytics experience (Python, R, or similar) a plus
  • Track record advising senior leadership and influencing strategy
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills at the intersection of strategy, finance and analytics

Compensation: 

  • Compensation Range: $220,000 - $310,000 per year + equity
  • New York Compensation Range: $275,000 - $387,500 per year + equity
