The Senior Procurement Coordinator will play an important role in aiding the procurement department as it expands and establishes a more developed process across all of Red Ventures. This person will help in day to day operations of the procurement team, including managing the contracting process throughout the contract lifecycle. This person will also lead  corporate-wide, spend related initiatives, coordinating across multiple teams.

What You'll Do

  • Manage procurement processes and projects, ensuring adherence to organizational procurement strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts with increasing dollar values
  • Mentor and help onboard new team members
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the procurement strategy
  • Contribute to the success of the team through collaboration, problem solving, and identifying and recommending cost savings opportunities and process improvements

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of procurement-related experience
  • Proven negotiation skills; able to optimize pricing in enterprise contracts
  • Strong analytical skills; able to use data to support recommendations 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; must be able to explain process and system functions in a simplistic fashion
  • Willingness to help and teach others
  • Good problem-solving / troubleshooting skills
