Analyst, Paid Search | Energy

In this role, you are responsible for implementing, optimizing, and analyzing paid search campaigns to drive performance. This role will be based in our Charlotte, NC office Monday-Thursday with remote work on Fridays. 

What You'll Do: Create and execute innovative paid search campaigns for Red Ventures brands and our partners.

  • Manage day-to-day execution and analysis of paid search campaigns across Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising platforms within budge; bridging the gap between our vast data set and impactful business decisions
  • Identify and test opportunities for account growth and optimization.
  • Analyze and give recommendations for driving account growth.
  • Translate complex business problems into clear, measurable projects; leverage machine learning algorithms and data processing tools to manipulate large datasets to create data-based solutions.
  • Analyze the impact of your data products, experiments, and/or deployments, synthesizing and presenting your findings in a way that clearly communicates the impact.
  • You'll be expected to stay close to the cutting edge in places like deep learning and generative AI to identify how emerging technology can be deployed to solve business problems in ways we haven’t imagined before.

What We're Looking For: Data lovers and analytically minded people with a passion for search engine marketing.

  • 1-2 years of experience of data-driven marketing, and/or data science experience with a proven track record meeting performance goals in paid search marketing.
  • Strong analytical background in marketing specifically. Ability to identify marketing trends and improve performance through optimization. 
  • Ability to collect, mine, and manipulate data from disparate data sources, with a willingness to dig deeper and understand the process that creates data
  • Some significant experience in Google Ads (AdWords) & Microsoft Advertising, along with Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of bidding optimizations, search audiences, and experience optimizing towards CPA or ROAS goals.
  • Foundational analytics toolkit - data extraction, manipulation, and visualizations (e.g., SQL, Pandas, Tableau, ggplot)
  • Self-starter with willingness to drive the business forward and take ownership of tasks, tactics, and strategy. Flexibility with evolving strategy a must.
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels of the marketing and product organizations, ranging from Analysts to Senior Leaders and Client Partners
  • Experience in paid social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok) a plus.

Compensation

  • Cash Compensation Range: $80,000 - 100,000
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
