Job description

Picarro is seeking a dedicated and dynamic ‘Partners Operations Specialist’ to join our Picarro SARL Operations team and play a pivotal role in our growth and development across Europe. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operational activities with Picarro partners in the EMEA region, ensuring 1st class execution of the terms of the agreements, high-quality outcomes, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on role requiring a blend of technical acumen, project management, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Activity Tracking: Monitor partners' driving and investigation activities in terms of quality control, efficiency, and issue identification.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports and communicate results to clients, partners, and internal Picarro departments as required.
  • Performance Metrics: Track activities using results-based KPIs and maintain the Plan of Record (POR).
  • Partners Communication: Regularly engage with partners, which includes:
    • Gathering insights on identified issues.
    • Addressing required corrections and actions.
    • Adapting plans upon needs.
  • Logistics Planning: Coordinate operational logistics and planning based on projects execution needs.
  • Technical Support: Provide minor technical training and support on systems and software tools. Collaborate with the SARL Operations/Field Application Engineering (FAE) team to:
    • Resolve technical support requests promptly.
    • Ensure high instrument uptime.
    • Perform timely system maintenance, updates, and checks.

Finance

  • Billing Oversight: Validate partner invoices based on completed activities.
  • Cost Tracking: Monitor, benchmark, analyze and report partners ‘costs.
  • Revenue Projections: Estimate and track planned activities to forecast revenue and costs.
  • Invoice Management: Generate and issue quotes and invoices for completed activities, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Dispute Resolution: Analyze, explain, and resolve discrepancies in invoicing with partners.

Legal and Compliance

  • Contract Adherence: Ensure execution compliance with contractual agreements, including pricing, performance requirements, and timelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Picarro internal departments, including Sales, Business Development, Client Program Management, Operations and Finance teams to address inadequate contracts or pricing structures.
  • Documentation: Maintain and archive all documents related to contracts, bills, invoices, and partner communications.
  • Data Security: Track and maintain adherence to data security protocols.

 

Role Summary The Partners Operations Specialist will manage partners’ operational activities with a customer-centric mindset. This individual must exhibit a proactive approach, technical competence, and strong problem-solving abilities to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Comprehensive training will be provided to develop a deep understanding of the role and Picarro’s technology and systems.

Qualifications

  • Academic and/or Professional Certifications in either engineering, Business Administration and/or project management.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing support roles.
  • Valid driver’s license.
