The Role
The Honest Company is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Data & Content Strategist to join our eCommerce team. This role is central to driving Honest’s digital-first mindset, with a primary focus on Amazon. You’ll partner with the VP of eCommerce and Amazon National Account Manager to optimize content, improve search and conversion, and deliver best-in-class product experiences. Areas of Responsibility
Omni-Channel
- Manage, audit, and track eContent, including owning changes and uploads for current and new items.
- Partner with Creative and Brand teams to shape digital content strategy and asset development (including copy), ensuring alignment with company initiatives while optimizing for channel-specific needs and online behaviors.
- Incorporate consumer reviews and questions into content recommendations; share insights broadly across the organization.
- Conduct competitive reviews to identify opportunities and merchandising tactics.
- Perform gap and opportunity analyses of existing content performance; establish KPIs that ladder up to business growth goals.
- Track and monitor content performance, preparing monthly scorecards with actionable insights.
- Manage the Digital Shelf through CommerceIQ, setting thresholds, monitoring content performance, auditing, and providing marketplace insights.
Amazon-Specific
- Lead onsite audits of Honest product pages; recommend and implement updates in Amazon Vendor Central and syndication platforms.
- Manage retail execution of key demand-driving activities (calendar alignment, system submissions, and on-site audits).
- Design and execute digital coupons in collaboration with brand and sales teams; track ROI and refine future strategies.
- Report on Subscribe & Save (SnS) metrics; contribute to product variation strategy.
- Partner with Product Supply and Amazon to complete forecasting and order generation for launches and demand-driving events.
- Co-own the launch of new products and define best-in-class go-to-market requirements.
- Manage execution and optimization of product pages and brand stores, ensuring top products are refreshed monthly.
- Develop A+ Content module recommendations and co-own enhanced content alongside Creative.
- Maintain merchandising calendar, execute brand store posts, and align with brand calendars for a holistic customer journey.
- Review brand store analytics and competitor storefronts monthly to inform shopper journey improvements.
- Foster strong relationships with Amazon; collaborate with the National Account Manager on troubleshooting and leverage IDQ/hidden keyword reports.
- Set IDQ targets and perform audits to maintain/exceed score.
- Audit CPF and Brand Registry landing pages to ensure visibility and share.
- Use SKAI and Vendor Central for share of voice (SOV) and keyword insights; execute changes to improve rankings and organic search.
- Align eCommerce content with digital media strategy, tailoring content to audience insights.

What you’ll need:
- 8-10 years of professional experience, including 3-5 years in Amazon and/or eCommerce (Vendor Central required).
- 3-5 years of CPG experience preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with Amazon marketing tools, content management systems (Syndigo, Salsify), and DAM platforms.
- Strong proficiency in digital metrics, Excel, AMC, DSP, and KPI analysis.
- Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
The pay range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
