About the role
You will lead the pipeline development process for Affordability and serve as a strategic thought partner to business units for discrete medical cost savings opportunities. We ask that you have a strong strategic and tactical focus as you will be responsible for development and maintenance of the multi-year affordability pipeline, partnering with business unit leadership to support ideation, developing and pushing forward initiatives. The role also requires the development and presentation of executive level materials and financial forecasts for c-suite leadership consumption. As a Senior Manager on the Affordability Team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our mission to make healthcare simpler, more affordable, and more accessible for all.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $131,200 - $172,200 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Manage the multi-year Affordability Pipeline, operating rhythm and financial reporting source of truth including target setting, initiative sizing, vetting, monitoring and reporting
- Develop and deliver c-suite level presentations regarding Affordability financial forecasting and pipeline updates
- Tactically manage the prioritization of the Affordability pipeline across stakeholders in order to escalate the scoping and implementation of high-impact ideas
- Partner with business unit initiative owners as a strategic thought partner to support their initiative development through the Affordability process
- Work as a connector across the organization to support business unit leadership in finding the right resources to increase their ability to implement medical cost savings initiatives on faster timelines.
- Be the knowledge manager and representative of Affordability across the organization for what exists in the Affordability pipeline to respond to requests for information from external stakeholders
- Be a collaborator to the Director of Affordability to seek constant performance improvement of the affordability process, people, and infrastructure
- Identify gaps, barriers, and roadblocks that exist in the current implementation of in-flight initiatives, and propose solutions and coordinate follow-up to remove said barriers.
- Build and update operating playbooks, workflows and standard of procedures for all Affordability processes to ensure a well managed and documented repeatable model and process
- Work in consult with the data team and tactically understand the methodology behind sizing of initiatives
- Partner with tech and claims ops to support in their execution of resource scoping for Affordability initiatives
- Partner with finance to ensure consistent accurate financial reporting is available to cross-functional leadership stakeholders
- Development and growth of direct reports (as applicable), ensuring that colleagues are supported in their professional development needs.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications
- 6+ years experience working in healthcare or insurance industries in a strategy, business development, or project management role
- 4+ years project planning and program management experience.
- Experience with Excel and financial modeling experience.
- Experience with SQL

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
