Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring an Associate, Product Operations to join our Product Operations team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role

The Product Operations team unlocks Oscar’s ability to ship more products faster and better, which is critical to Oscar’s overall mission to use technology and design to refactor healthcare. The primary function of Product Operations is to execute and continuously improve processes leading up to product launch, as well as ongoing processes that have not been automated.

We are currently hiring for two Associate Product Manager positions. By applying for this position, you will be considered for a top-priority open position within the Product Operations team; a specific role and manager will be determined during the hiring process based on the highest priority need.

As an Associate Product Operations Manager, you will partner closely with Product team members, Engineering, business teams, external partners, and other stakeholders across two domains.

For one role, the first domain manages our Rosco tool, which empowers our Care Teams to guide members as they plan and get care. The second domain is focused on enhancing the Digital Member Experience (DMX) across the care journey, from onboarding to finding care and estimating costs.

For the other role, first domain manages our Provider Portal, focusing on improving the provider experience, lowering Oscar administrative cost, and strengthening the provider / payer relationship. The second domain is focused on our Broker Technology, which not only gives external sales channels (brokers, e-brokers, agencies) effective ways to sell, enroll, and manage clients on Oscar plans, but also delivers the most reliable, flexible, trustworthy, and easy-to-use commissions management technology and experience so Brokers can focus what they do best: enrolling and servicing their clients.

You will report to either a Senior Manager, Product Operations or a Product Operations Manager II.

Work Location:

Oscar is a blended work culture where everyone, regardless of work type or location, feels connected to their teammates, our culture and our mission.

This is a hybrid role in our New York City office. You will work part of the time in the office and part of the time remote / work-from-home. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $98,400 - $129,150 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
