So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our team to contribute to our CXone Customer Engagement Analytics (CEA) presale function. The ideal candidate is excited about working in a data-driven environment with strategic, high-growth accounts who has a passion for AI and Analytics. We are looking for someone who can deploy a consultative approach to uncover customer needs, prepare materials that will be used by the presales and sales teams to highlight the value of the proposed CXone CEA solution, escalate problems encountered in the field to the appropriate senior resource, and sense when to ditch the script and engage with people rather than slides.

 As a Solutions Engineer within CEA, you will be part of a fast-paced environment, supporting a rapidly growing product division within CXone and responsible for laying the groundwork for the sales team to be successful. You will partner with portfolio presales and sales to provide support throughout the entire sales process as an AI and Analytics subject matter expert. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals from diverse backgrounds with demonstrated strong critical judgment, as well as deep quantitative problem-solving skills. How will you make an impact? 

  • Leading the presales phase, delivering high-quality solutions, identifying risks, and clearing roadblocks for the sales organization.
  • Conducting discovery conversations and needs analysis for business and technical topics independently.
  • Pursuing the technical sales process with a focus on solutions development through discovery, requirements gathering, personalized demos, validation, and documented design.
  • Managing customer requirements, utilizing questioning skills to match NICE customer capabilities to products, and respond to technical inquiries efficiently.
  • Creating and delivering customer-centric presentations and demonstrations, connecting technical features to business drivers.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with sales account managers and functional consultants, fostering an integrated team approach to customer engagement.
  • Providing product feedback to product management, distilling marketplace requirements into product enhancements.
  • Maintaining knowledge of modern technologies across AI, Analytics, telephony, and cloud platforms.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of company-wide standardization and scalability processes.
  • Building internal relationships within sales and other areas to evangelize the CXone CEA solutions. 

Have you got what it takes?

  • BA/BS degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, or information technology. Master’s degree is also beneficial.
  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on practical technical experience in (solutions engineering, sales architecture, data, implementation) that was engaged in planning, executing, and managing of complex software sales.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience with cross-functional project and deal teams within Enterprise software/ business solutions.
  • Experience working with AI and Analytic solutions, customer contact centers or other customer service functions
  • Experience using or building analytics within the contact center environment to analyze customer interactions, identify trends, and use data to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Experience using or building tools like speech analytics, sentiment analysis, and customer journey mapping to translate customer engagement insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Experience in a role with direct client interaction, with the ability to communicate business and technical concepts to non-technical business users as well client technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Natural Language Processing (NLP), predictive modeling, big data analytics, and generative AI.
  • Experience developing and deploying machine learning models, analyzing large datasets, and applying advanced AI techniques to solve complex business challenges.
  • Experience in building and working with Business Intelligence reports doing data analysis and report creation using platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
