So, what’s the role all about?

As a CX-One Junior DevOps Engineer, you will be learning and contributing to the automation, scalability, and reliability of our AWS-based cloud platform. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will help implement CI/CD pipelines, assist in optimizing infrastructure, and support the management of containerized environments. This role will challenge you to build your DevOps skills while collaborating closely with development, operations, and security teams.

How will you make an impact?

  • Assist in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Support efforts to optimize the AWS infrastructure for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Learn and assist with developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Help manage containerized environments using Fargate, Docker, and Kubernetes, learning to streamline application deployments.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues alongside senior engineers and development teams.
  • Assist with automation efforts by scripting in languages like Python or Bash and leveraging AWS Lambda.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into software delivery workflows.

 

Have you got what it takes?

  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI, with a desire to learn and contribute.
  • Foundational knowledge of AWS infrastructure and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Eagerness to learn Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn from senior team members to troubleshoot issues.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) with an eagerness to improve automation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to continuous learning.
  • Flexibility to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment while staying open to feedback.
