So, what’s the role all about?
The Senior Program Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and lead organizational change initiatives to ensure release success. This includes managing key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and driving continuous improvement across development and operations teams.
How will you make an impact?
- Lead and mentor R&D teams, guiding Scrum leads and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Establish and manage strong communication channels with senior stakeholders and executives, providing regular updates on program progress and managing expectations.
- Address and manage risks, scope changes, and organizational readiness across globally distributed teams.
- Lead change management initiatives and drive adoption of new processes or methodologies to optimize program execution.
- Manage program budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective release delivery while maximizing efficiency and outcomes.
- Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals and proactively managing deviations.
- Analyse data from JIRA and team reports to provide insights, escalate issues, and deliver regular status updates to executive leadership.
Have you got what it takes?
- BE in Computer Science / IT, or relevant practical/technological experience in related fields.
- 12+ years of experience in program management, including leadership of global, distributed teams.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale enterprise systems and leading Agile transformations in an R&D environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the C-suite level.
- Strong understanding of financial and resource management, with experience in managing budgets and optimizing costs.
- Expertise in defining and tracking KPIs and program success metrics to drive organizational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, adopting new tools, processes, or methodologies to improve efficiency and delivery.
