So, what’s the role all about?

The Senior Contract Manager researches and validates products and services billed on vendor accounts. This role requires collaboration with IT, Accounting, Business Analysts, Sales, Provisioning, and Regulatory departments to ensure accurate payment and tracking. The Senior Contract Manager also processes vendor invoices for coding and payment, and manages follow-up on reports, disputes, and vendor relations.

How will you make an impact?  

  • Carefully reviews and reconciles large-scale, complex carrier invoices to ensure accurate payments.
  • Tracks rates and discounts based on contracts with third-party carriers for accurate billing.
  • Collaborates with Provisioning and Network Planning departments to apply special pricing and discounts.
  • Monitors service initiations, disconnects, and changes for proper billing with carriers and internal units.
  • Manages and resolves carrier billing disputes, ensuring follow-up through centralized tracking mechanisms.
  • Acts as the initial escalation point with third-party carriers to improve processes and ensure service levels.
  • Provides timely feedback to Accounts Payable on carrier invoice reconciliations for accurate and timely payments.
  • Cross-references carrier charges with NICE’s customer charges for accuracy and proper billing.
  • Analyzes cost/revenue reports and creates reports on margin and overall profitability.
  • Adheres to company policies, Code of Ethics, and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in telecommunications vendor management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel with strong mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
  • Experience in telecommunications, billing, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with contracts and contract management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in quantitative and statistical analysis.
