So, what’s the role all about?

The Vice President, Sales Development is a key strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of demand generation to achieve revenue goals that support NICE growth. You will be highly cross-functional, strategic and will require both creative and analytical thinking. The Vice President, Sales Development will be responsible for owning NICE demand generation strategy and executing scalable, data-driven initiatives and campaigns that drive qualified leads. Working closely with the leadership team, the Vice President, Sales Development will play a critical role in taking the company through the next phase of growth. You and your team will generate new pipelines in both current and new markets, help grow our existing base and design our demand generation strategy to build global awareness and drive larger deal sizes. The ideal candidate is well-versed in demand generation best practices and marketing technologies, has 5+ years in call center environments, drives analytical and data-driven decision-making and is a skilled and versatile leader with the ability to balance strategic planning with a hands-on, people first approach.

How will you make an impact?

  • Develop the company's data-driven, demand generation strategy and channels to increase demand and new business by 3X, as well as expand the existing customer base
  • Own execution of its associated plan, including scope, target outcomes, key metrics and measures, and required inputs and resources to deliver
  • Work closely with the CMO to orchestrate demand generation and Account Based Marketing programs that successfully engage target upmarket accounts moving them effectively through buyer’s journey
  • Manage about 80 total employees, including Sales Development Reps, Managers, Directors, etc.
  • Manage overall demand generation and growth strategy, programs, and budget
  • Build, execute, and scale a high-performance ABM program for Innovative that delivers to demand generation goals and sales success
  • Define, plan and execute integrated inbound, outbound and ABM programs through multiple channels including digital, email, content and events
  • Establish tracking and measurement to optimize programs based on real-time results, while reporting on the value delivered by our demand generation efforts
  • Continuously evaluate the performance and ROI of campaigns, adjusting demand tactics and strategy accordingly
  • Create strategies and tactics to penetrate executive teams and engage senior leaders of large enterprises, especially those focused on CX transformation and customer experience
  • Partner with the Marketing team on content strategy, planning and executing multi-channel programs: emails, webinars, events, digital, direct mail etc.
  • Partner with the Sales leadership to ensure quality demand delivery and follow-up according to established SLAs 

Have you got what it takes?

  • BA or MBA Degree in Technical Sales or other related Business 
  • 5-7 years of demand generation experience working in a CX software, or cloud computing, multi-channel environment
  • In-depth expertise working with Salesforce / major CRMs and other Sales Tools
  • Expertise in understanding data, telling stories, and executing across channels to create a customer-focused experience
  • Experience managing a large group of sales developers
  • Experience running campaigns and programs that directly drive pipeline growth using modern marketing tools and channels, coupled with a desire to seek ways to enhance our results through optimization, testing and other means
  • Proven leadership experience in promoting, leading, and inspiring an innovative professional workforce
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to track campaigns, scale success and maximize effectiveness
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to clearly communicate technical information 

You will have an advantage if you also have:

  • Prior experience in sales for enterprise software solutions like suite of services:
    • Ex: Cloud customer experience platforms, omnichannel routing, workforce optimization, analytics, automation, and AI on an open cloud foundation., and other enterprise software solutions.
  • Enterprise business and financial modeling experience, familiarity with key financial metrics: ROI, TCO, NPV, IRR, ARR, BPM benchmarks is a must.
