About the job:

As a Sr. EMR Systems and Support Analyst, your responsibilities include driving multiple projects in parallel that directly contribute to development, integration, support and functionality rollout and update of an Electronic Health Record system and supporting IT systems. You will assist with workflow process optimization through building applications that are tailored to meet the laboratory’s needs. You will use your expertise in EHR system’s capabilities and functional knowledge of workflows to assist in the integration of provider EMR systems and implementation of internal systems to help to meet process needs. You will also monitor and support clients before and after implementation and/or interface deployment. You will ensure that customer upgrades are done with quality while staying inline with their workflows. You will also ensure that all required stakeholders are involved and informed throughout each project. 

What you will do:

  • You will quickly develop a deep understanding of Natera’s users to deliver an outstanding user experience 

  • You will use your EMR expertise and functional workflow knowledge to develop and reform EMR systems and support processes as needed to provide top quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • You will drive operational excellence and meet with operational stakeholders as required to determine both short term and long term solutions to issues identified post implementation.

  • You will plan, lead and execute multiple implementations and customer upgrades with quality. You will also keep stakeholders informed of progress.

  • You will solicit customer feedback and funnel new requirements and product changes back into software development

  • You will participate in all phases of the system development life cycle including development of use cases and evaluation of software solutions. 

  • You will research to develop, configure, and modify moderately complex information systems. 

  • You will create documentation of business requirements, current and future state workflows. 

  • You will design, configure, test, debug, document, and maintain program/application configurations. 

  • You will coordinate all testing phases of associated applications across multiple parallel implementations and upgrades. 

  • You will support existing functionality with further expansion to other Natera groups where necessary. 

  • You will develop strong relationships with end user communities, customers, and business partners. In the process, you will quickly become a subject matter expert on Natera’s deployed EMR software products 

  • You may have to travel (up to 50%) to customer sites to assist with clinic staff or provider training, and onsite elbow support where necessary.

  • You will work with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job. Due to this, you must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.

  • You must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements. You would also be required to pass a post offer criminal background check.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical, Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or commensurate experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct work experience

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in directly dealing with EMR systems.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Customer research and survey skills – how to ask good questions, listen carefully, and synthesize information into clear customer and market needs with attention to details. 

  • Highly organized with ability to manage concurrent deadlines

  • Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with individuals, and influence individuals across functional areas and in team environments. 

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills 

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams 

  • Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards 

  • Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues 

  • Ability to understand customer requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects successfully with high quality deliverables while keeping stakeholders informed of progress

  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage one’s own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities 

  • Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools 

  • Understanding of clinical workflows and terminology in Healthcare IT is required. Working knowledge of EMR solutions is required.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare business processes and technology is required.

  • Experience in acute care or ambulatory care settings is a plus. 

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
