What you bring

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
System administration and troubleshooting experience with Linux in a production environment
Experience with large production deployments in the cloud (AWS, GCP)
Experience in automated provisioning and management of cloud resources (Terraform and AWS an advantage)
Experience in containerization (Docker) solutions and orchestration, such as k8s (advantage), Mesos/Marathon (advantage), Swarm, Nomad, etc.
Experience with object-oriented programming
Experience with programming in shell scripting
Expertise in server-side performance tuning and troubleshooting
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
Experience with a configuration management software program such as Puppet
MySQL tuning, replication, backup and recovery - advantage
Experience with web related technologies, architectures, protocols etc - advantage
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
