As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement process by ensuring timely purchasing within established authority and approval levels. In this role, you will monitor orders, follow up with vendors, and help ensure on-time delivery of materials and services. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, both within the department and when representing Michels Corporation externally. You must be able to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, and consistently project a positive company image.

Associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer proficiency
Proficiency with using eProcurement or eSourcing tools (desired)
Relevant industry experience (desired)
A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record (desired)
