POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a seasoned expert who is able to design compensation programs with global applicability with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and implement their solutions.  Reporting to the CHRO, this position will drive the compensation rewards philosophy and design programs that support that philosophy and the culture of the organization while enabling local implementation.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Senior Compensation Program Manager will be responsible for driving compensation analyses and recommendations for rewards for BOLD while balancing offerings in fixed, variable and equity compensation to meet corporate goals and initiatives within budget parameters.  Develop a global philosophy and work with BOLD’s in-country HR team on local implementation. You will understand the human component of the role and drive the foundation of Bold’s performance management and retention strategy through strategic and growth-oriented rewards programs. 

Reporting into the CHRO, you will be a subject matter expert who will deliver strong recommendations on all compensation programs.  You will be strategic, but also hands-on, and will ideally have a mix of large company experience coupled with entrepreneurial, high-growth company experience.  Global experience and interaction are essential to the success of this role.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Management, administration, creation, and development of all compensation programs for the global organization.  You will facilitate the coordination of all compensation programs to support and align with business objectives and strategy. 
  • Participate in market data surveys; evaluate compensation trends, market data and benchmark surveys to ensure market competitiveness of all compensation programs.
  • Manage different compensation structures in the organization including grading system, job evaluation system, etc. aligned with the corporate culture and values.
  • Manage the design and communication of compensation updates and changes to the HRBP’s and partner with HRBP’s as needed.
  • Responsible for recommending the Compensation philosophy as it relates to structure, competitiveness, merit budgeting and process as well as bonus program designs.  Ensuring consistency in the organization across geographies and functions, make recommendations to the CHRO on changes and alignment.
  • Ability to manage external carrier relationships ensuring delivery of high-quality responsive and customer service.
  • Work with Staffing and HRBP’s on providing standard and creative compensation packages to manage and win competitive offers for top talent.
  • Provides interpretation of company philosophy, policy and principles related to the areas of compensation.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to provide information and support the needs of their client organizations.
  • Own the crafting, roll out and continuous improvement of all compensation and benefits program messaging ensuring the HR Business Partners have a clear roadmap of requirements for enabling companywide success.

THE PERSON: You will have prior experience in a similar role, focused on all aspects of compensation including base pay, variable pay, equity compensation, plan design, and compensation data analysis. You will be analytical, but also creative, possess strong business acumen and understand how to attract talent in a competitive landscape. You will be a strong communicator and comfortable delivering a message both in written information and presentations to the employee population.  You will be a detail oriented, organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will possess the ability to build collaborative, positive, effective partnerships both within and outside of the Company. Experience handling confidential and sensitive issues is a must.

KNOWLEDGE: You will possess strong proactive leadership, including organization, project management, delegation, and analytical skills with a customer-service orientation.  History of developing a strategically designed approach to the creation of programs in line with the organization’s goals and objectives.  Apply creative problem solving to various business issues ensuring we meet objectives within desired budget parameters.  Team player attitude and willing to assist the group and company as a whole to enable success.  Track record of driving programs to conclusion on time and in budget through delegation and partnering with appropriate team members and outside vendors.  Open to designing leading edge offerings that support the business culture and objectives.  Comfortable dealing with employees around the world to partner for the best offerings in their local regions while upholding the philosophy of the company.  Willing and able to think outside the box to come up with unique and creative solutions.  Comfortable in a fast paced, global organization.  Able to see a project from beginning to end and identify key stakeholders for early involvement in appropriate programs. Strong track record of collaborating with HR Business partners and company managers on the discussion and resolution of rewards issues.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Working knowledge of compensation strategies, regulations and philosophies including experience working with global programs and designs.  Track record of designing and implementing competitive benefits designs which maximize employee value for the budget spent. Prior experience designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs from the ground floor in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.  Ability to multi-task – drive multiple projects at once.  Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and analytics.  Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization and influence key decision makers.  Demonstrated willingness to roll up your sleeves to implement and run programs in addition to designing them. Prior knowledge of HRIS systems, specifically Workday a plus. Comfortable in a dynamic fast-paced environment where you must be able to design as well as implement.  Open communicator who partners with the HR team to enable program success at all levels and in all regions of the business.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, management or other related field required. 

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 years directly related compensation and benefits experience.  Experience managing small teams and outside vendors to deliver success.  Experience delivering global programs is required. In depth Radford experience required.
