The Opportunity

Are you passionate about data, automation, and driving meaningful change through smart processes? Landmark is looking for a Data Specialist to lead the way in transforming how we manage, process, and deliver data across the business.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our Data Management & Operations team, supporting strategic initiatives across Landmark divisions including PointX, Data Engineering, and Customer Data Quality. You’ll take ownership of complex ETL workflows, develop automation tools, and ensure our data is accurate, timely, and fit for purpose.

You will:

  • Lead and maintain ETL processes, improving automation and data quality.
  • Use tools like Power BI to report on team metrics and performance.
  • Support data integration and provisioning across Landmark products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve data issues and enhance workflows.
  • Manage bespoke data requests and provide technical support to Sales.
  • Ensure metadata accuracy and drive improvements in data governance.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team KPIs and continuous improvement.

About You

You will have a qualification in GIS or a data-related discipline or bring significant equivalent professional experience. With at least 5 years’ experience in data analysis or curation, you’re confident designing and optimizing ETL/ELT processes, ideally using tools like FME Form or Flow, and always following best data governance practices.

You’re skilled with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL/GIS, and have hands-on experience with SQL and Python. Experience with cloud-based data tools and storage is a plus.

You will also be detail-oriented, inquisitive, and thrive on solving complex problems and finding efficiencies in existing data pipelines.
