What’s the opportunity?

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our Discovery and Translational Biology team located in Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Immunology, focused on T-cell driven indications. This person should have extensive experience with flow cytometry, primary immune cell readouts and in vivo pharmacology to advance LifeMine’s lifesaving drug Candidates into the clinic to better serve patients.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Propose study designs and conduct experiments to evaluate immunomodulatory response mechanisms in vitro and in vivo.
  • Diligently record, analyze, and present data to team members.
  • Facilitate in vivo pharmacology efforts with key CRO partners.
  • Collaborate across functional teams to efficiently contribute to IND-enabling studies.
  • Contribute to build a robust PK/PD/efficacy relationship and translational biomarker readouts to advance to the clinic.

What you’ll need to be successful:

 

  • PhD in immunology or related field with 3+ years experience in academic, biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Extensive experience with primary immune cells whole blood, PBMCs, immune cell subset enrichment and culture/co-culture methods.
  • Proficiency in immunological readouts e.g. MLR, Luminex, MSD, flow cytometry, ELISA.
  • Supporting vivo pharmacology efforts to characterize immunomodulatory efficacy in tissue derived immune cell infiltrates is a plus.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate research questions, propose experiments to deliver key data.
  • Excellent at problem solving and multitasking, with enthusiasm to continually seek avenues to synergize with and support team members.
  • Ability to work independently and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
