Jackpot is seeking a Contract Recruiter to help us identify, attract, engage, and hire top-quality talent for roles of all levels. This is a part-time, contractor role reporting to our Director of People, and will be fully remote. Hours may vary between 5-25 hours per week depending on hiring needs.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the full recruitment cycle by partnering with hiring managers to deeply understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to recruiting and retention
Be the owner of our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, and contribute to building processes, infrastructure, and improvements
Commit to giving each of our candidates the best possible experience by providing excellent communication and speed through the pipeline
Post jobs on appropriate job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, university career pages, and DEI websites
Conduct trainings, such as interviewing or anti-bias training, to team members as needed
Use data and insights to make recommendations on how we can make better hiring decisions
You Ideally Have:
3+ years of recruiting experience ideally within a high-growth start-up
Strong sense of urgency, prioritization, and excellent time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in recruiting software, job boards, resume databases, and LinkedIn
Experience with sourcing passive talent, with a resourceful and creative approach
Positive customer service attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse
