About this role:

iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced Certified Cardiac Technician in our San Francisco office located at 699 8th Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA.  Our work environment is fast paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Review patient’s ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilizing iRhythm’s Quality Analysis tools for 100% of all records
  • Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities as required according to physician notification protocol
  • Perform 100% of the quality assurance before the final report is delivered to the physician and provide report format modifications and additions as requested
  • Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification (RN or Paramedic may qualify)
  • Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
  • Meet or exceed the productivity and quality metrics as defined for the role
  • Adherence to HIPAA Guidelines and Best Clinical Practices
  • Other duties as assigned

About you:

An experienced Certified Cardiac Technician with the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; an Associate’s degree or two years college course work preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience as a cardiac telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other position requiring ECG interpretation
  • Advanced computer agility skills and knowledge of Microsoft tools
  • Successful completion of new hire training requirements
  • Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
  • Demonstrated capability in rhythm analysis and interpretation
  • You are a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or able to be certified within 120 days of hire (maximum 3 attempts); other related certifications or licenses may qualify (i.e. RN or Paramedic)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must be open to continuous feedback for continual growth and development
  • Great work ethic and a desire to provide high quality outcomes (reports) to our clients and patients
