About the Role
We are seeking a European-based Customer Success Scientist to cover our European and Israel territories. A Customer Success Scientist will facilitate the capabilities of our growing customer base as a subject matter expert in the acquisition and analysis of MIBI data to advance their research and enable new discoveries with high-definition spatial proteomics.
Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert of the entire MIBIscope platform, from assay development and tissue staining to MIBIscope operation and data analysis.
- Understand the research objectives of our customers, resolve any bottlenecks, and identify new capabilities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide pre-sales technical seminars and scientific consultation.
- Assist during MIBIscope installation and train new users across all aspects of the MIBIscope platform.
- Provide on-going remote and on-site customer support for MIBIscope customers to produce high-quality data, consistently.
- Assist with internal research and development projects which improve application success for MIBIscope customers. Work with internal teams to build application notes based on customer feedback and market needs.
- Provide user feedback on instrument operation, workflow, reagents, software tools, and overall customer experience to product management to continually improve the MIBIscope platform.
- Collaborate with Ionpath’s Center of Excellence in Barcelona to host user group meetings, sales meetings, and other technical seminars.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues on field systems.
About You
You are a scientist with experience using imaging systems and multiplexed data analysis. You enjoy working with next-gen technology and want to be part of enabling researchers to answer big, complex scientific questions. You’re collaborative, have a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges, enjoy pushing the boundaries of science, and are able to take initiative and work independently. You have presented at scientific conferences, company user meetings and participated in pre-sales activities.
Requirements
- Europe or United Kingdom based, near a major airport.
- PhD. in biological sciences, analytical chemistry, or related fields.
- 2-3+ years of experience working with imaging tools and multiplexed data analysis.
- Working knowledge of IHC, FACS, ELISA or other antibody-dependent assays.
- Experience as a Field Application Scientist supporting customer success and presenting technology and its use in scientific applications.
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems, both graphical and terminal based.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Travel up to 80% internationally, including within Europe, to Israel, and to the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in oncology, immunology, or neuroscience research applications.
- Experience with mass spectral imaging (MSi)
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware components in high tech scientific instrumentation, especially imaging systems and/or mass spectrometers.
- Experience with experimental design of ToF-SIMS, MALDI-ToF, or other MSi technologies
Salary range for this role is 55,000-80,000 EURO per year
