The Healthcare Technologies Data Platform team builds native platform solutions (IRIS for Health and Health Connect) that enable healthcare-specific platform capabilities. As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Healthcare Interoperability, you will play a crucial role in driving our product strategy and leading the development of cutting-edge solutions, mainly around for FHIR and CCDA that enable seamless data integration and interoperability.

 Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for healthcare interoperability, aligning with the company's vision and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify market trends, user needs, and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Define and prioritize a product roadmap with epics, features, bugs and enhancements based on customer feedback, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Be the owner of Health Interoperability Cloud services, ensuring end (define product needs) to end (customers using the cloud offering) delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure products

 Product Development and Execution:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define feature needs, technical requirements, system architecture, and design for interoperability solutions.
  • Drive the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure products.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
  • Work with Quality Development team to ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance measures to ensure the reliability, performance, and standard conformance of the products.
  • Work closely to the Cloud Operation Team to guarantee product cloud optimization and CI/CD pipeline.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize feature development, and track progress against key milestones.

 Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, support, and customer success teams, to gather customer feedback, understand market needs, and ensure effective product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Engage with customers, industry experts, and key opinion leaders to gather insights, validate product concepts, and build strategic partnerships.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to customers, sales teams, and implementation teams on healthcare interoperability standards and best practices.

 Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and protocols, such as HL7, FHIR, CCDA, and APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud capabilities and experience building cloud products.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in technical product management in the healthcare IT industry, mainly around healthcare integration engines.
  • Experience with healthcare data transformations. (e.g., CCDA to FHIR, HL7 to FHIR).
  • Experience with programming is a plus. (Python, Java, or similar programming languages).
  • Experience working with healthcare data exchange, EHR/EMR systems, healthcare information exchanges (HIEs), and interoperability challenges in healthcare.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile frameworks (e.g., DevOps, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, influence stakeholders, and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
