Physical and Logical ID Specialist

Classification: Exempt Position

Qualifications:

IntelliDyne is looking for a hands-on Physical and Logical ID Specialist with outstanding attention to detail and top-notch customer service abilities.  The ID Specialist is responsible for providing physical and logical security services for the Federal customer during regular business hours when the Federal government is open.  The qualified candidate must be capable of performing the duties that cover the scope of this job description whenever needed.

 

Required:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in an IT or a related field
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a PIV Registrar certification
    • Possess a hi-level attention to detail
    • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service on a regular basis
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day tasks associated with the HSPD12 (PIV) card program
  • Advocate for our users when they need a HSPD12 card, need a replacement HSPD12 card, or need to return their HSPD12 card
  • Manage the electronic certificate program (USAAccess)
  • Ensure the certificates on each card are kept current
  • Contact users to make them aware that they need to a new certificate loaded onto their card
  • Aid users in the use of our One Identity Password Manager kiosks
  • Manage the physical access permissions for all personnel
  • Test/troubleshoot problems with devices properly recognizing a PIV card, and granting the proper access
  • Issue in house Smart Cards
