About the Role -The ASM for Caper Ads, is responsible for the adoption and integration of advertising on AI-powered smart carts in retail stores. You'll act as a consultant and specialist, educating sales teams and retail partners on our solutions and enhancing our go-to-market strategies.

  • Facilitate and prioritize ad partnership opportunities with retail teams to promote and integrate the Caper Ads offering.
  • Serve as a connector and consultant, linking retailers with innovative advertising solutions that enhance in-store ad monetization.
  • Collaborate closely with Connected Stores Market Strategy & Planning and Caper (hardware) Sales teams to refine and execute strategic go-to-market strategy & processes.
  • Deliver expert knowledge and presentations on in-store ad offerings to stakeholders.

About the Team - We're pushing the boundaries at Instacart by introducing advertising solutions that connect brands directly to the in-store shopping experience. Ads on Caper Cart, is all about creating a fresh, tech-driven way for brands to shine in retail spaces. We're looking for an Ads Solutions Manager to join our team. As we expand our Caper Ads solutions, we’re looking for an Ads Solutions Manager who excels in bridging the gap between retailers and brands, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication of our in-store ad offerings.

 

 

About the Job

  • Develop and drive the roadmap features and positioning for retailers and brand partners, establishing yourself as a subject matter expert on Caper.
  • Educate and empower sales teams and retail partners on the integration and benefits of in-store advertising solutions.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams across product, marketing, and sales to ensure strategic alignment and maximize the impact of Caper Ads in the retail environment.

 

 

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ proven experience
  • Background in retail media, e-commerce, or shopper marketing within a retailer, agency, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or ad tech company.
  • Digitally savvy with a strong understanding of the evolving digital ad landscape.
  • Strong understanding of advertising channels and measurement.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting and consulting on complex solutions.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to network and connect various stakeholders, from sales teams to senior executives in retail.
  • Expertise in delivering educational and persuasive presentations, influencing both internal teams and external partners.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate through complex scenarios and provide practical, innovative solutions.
  • Experience with a shopper marketing agency or similar role with a focus on digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising solutions.
