OVERVIEW
About the Role
We are looking to add a Senior IT Network Engineer to design, refine, and scale our corporate network, ensure consistent, reliable experiences in our corporate offices and fulfillment centers, and support our cloud connectivity.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Ensuring corporate networking, including services like DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, EAP-TLS, and other authentication methods, works reliably in all of our offices and fulfillment centers
- Designing, building, and configuring new network infrastructure
- Configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls
- Monitoring system performance and availability, and designing alerting to catch outages and degradations
- Automating networking processes
- Creating and maintaining network infrastructure documentation, including system diagrams and network configurations
ABOUT YOU
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional networking experience in a distributed environment
- Strong network and performance monitoring skills and knowledge of network capacity planning
- Experience working across LAN and global WAN networks
- Deep understanding and experience with routing protocols (such as OSPF, BGP) and network protocols (such as Multicast, Spanning Tree, HSRP)
- Experience automating common network processes (eg launching sites from templates, changing configurations at multiple sites via script)
- Networking monitoring and alerting systems experience
- Experience with Meraki networking
- A belief that good documentation helps successful project delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Eager to work in a fast paced, high growth startup environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong Python scripting experience
- Expertise programmatically managing a network
- Project management skills to run and manage your own projects
