The Instacart Product Team is dedicated to making grocery shopping effortless for everyone. By taking care of the shopping, we give people back their time. The Savings & Pricing team is responsible for creating and surfacing compelling savings opportunities to users through their shopping journey. The team also owns critical core platform components that power order totals, invoices/receipts and taxes. Within pricing and discounts, the team will leverage machine learning and intelligent targeting models to optimize pricing strategies and discount spend on behalf of our retailer partners. 


We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to lead Savings & Pricing, managing a team of high performing individual contributors. You will craft the vision and roadmap for dynamic and targeted pricing and discount systems, transform the savings experience across all surfaces of the Instacart app, and scale business critical commerce platform components. 


  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineering, design, research, data science, operations, and more 
  • Define the product vision and strategy for Savings & Pricing at Instacart over the next 3 years, including long-term bets and near-term impact drivers 
  • Identify the biggest problems and drive new feature development from start to finish
  • Communicate product plans, benefits and results to leadership audiences 



  • 5+ years experience in Product Management 
  • Management experience for teams of 3+ individual contributors 
  • Experience building cross-platform experiences (native, mobile web, desktop)
  • Track record of significant accomplishments that required direction-setting


  • Exposure to commerce platform components
  • Exposure to ML-driven models and targeting 
  • Strong data driven problem solving skills 
  • Experience influencing the executive team members on key strategy and cross-functional initiatives
