At Illumio, we recognize that Sales Operations plays a critical role in driving sales success—the growth engine of every company. As our team and micro-segmentation cybersecurity business rapidly expand, we are seeking a talented Senior Proposal Manager who will serve as a trusted advisor to the sales teams on all sales proposals, bridging cross-functional departments.

The Senior Proposal Manager will coordinate and produce the proposal (RFI, RFP, etc.) response. He/she will be experienced in scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings / final document review, coordinating proposal governance / sign off, document production, and delivery of the completed proposal. This is a highly cross functional role that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. This role will also require experience of designing, managing, and updating a Content Library or Proposal Automation Solution. This role will report directly to Sr. Director of Deal Desk.

Your Impact:

  • Deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer-defined timeframes.

  • Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from various stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, security, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and delivery.

  • Communicate and influence at a senior level.

  • Coach sales teams in persuasive writing and proposal best practices.

  • Manage and update a Content Library or Proposal Automation Solution.

  • Schedule and run proposal kick-off meetings, lead storyboarding sessions, facilitate key review meetings/final document review, coordinate proposal governance/sign-off, document production, and delivery of the completed proposal.

  • Work independently and take the lead in driving daily and continuous improvements.

  • Collaborate with IT to enhance tools and processes.

Your Toolkit:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing role and Sales/Business Operations function.

  • Strong experience with Salesforce and Loopio is preferred, including troubleshooting.

  • Comfortable with change and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

  • Strong business acumen, organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to process a high volume of transactions with accuracy and integrity.

  • Critical thinking skills to observe, interpret, analyze, infer, and explain information clearly and concisely.

  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

Pay Range:

$ 154,000 USD - $ 185,000 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
