About the Role:

As a Solutions Content Consultant, you will be providing operational support to the entire Solutions Consulting team, as well as external Partners.  Primary responsibilities will be handling both the internal Solutions team and external Partners tenant management tickets; including communication of timing expectations and demo content changes.  Additional responsibilities will be assisting with sales demo content creation, assisting with proof-of-concept (POC) creation, and assisting with organizing and maintaining the Solutions team documentations.  A key component of the role will be engaging with the Solutions Consultants (SC) and the broader GTM team to learn about challenges our prospects face, while helping them understand how the Planful application can solve these challenges and add value to their business.  This role is vital to the company’s success in hitting Sales targets and achieving desired growth through ensuring sales demo assets cover necessary content to compete in the market and ensuring demo tenants are updated and running efficiently to cover the timing of all Sales requested demos.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Vital to the company’s success in hitting Sales targets and achieving desired growth
  • Create and process both internal Solutions team and external Partners tenant management tickets
    • Including demo, workshop, and proof-of-concept (POC) tenants cloning, migration, back-up, and related procedures
  • Effectively communicate to both internal and external customers about tenant updates; including timing expectations and content changes
  • Architect, create, refine and maintain Solutions team sales demo assets
    • Including standard demo content, industry verticals, workshops, and partner demo content
  • Ensure that sales demo content is aligned with the company Go-To-Market (GTM) packages / solutions
  • Liaise with the Services, Partners, and Customer Success teams to incorporate customer requirements into sales demo content
  • Liaise with the Product team to communicate sales product needs and to keep them informed of the Solutions team sales demo content
  • Incorporate new product features into sales demo content and enable the Solutions Consultants (SC) on new product features
  • Create and maintain all sales demo content design and architecture documentation
    • Provide architecture and design support to the Solutions team
  • Educate Solutions team on all sales demo assets; troubleshoot product and performance issues
  • Work with Consultants to deconstruct a prospect’s business process and define the strategy for delivering an effective POC
  • Build POCs that deliver the defined success criteria in a timely, complete, and high-quality fashion
    • Including demo script creation and walkthrough for the respective SC

 

Credentials & Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis and/or Accounting standards and practices 
  • 2+ years related work experience; preferably a proven track record working with or working at a Corporate Performance Management (CPM) vendor
  • Strong grasp of the types of financial applications that Planful implements
    • i.e. Budgeting, Planning, Forecasting, Month-End Close, Financial Reporting, Financial Dashboards, Consolidations, FP&A etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills – ability to create complex formulas, macros, and sophisticated formatting
  • Ability to gather and understand prospect requirements; leveraging a consultative approach to convert those requirements into an effective POC
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of multiple industries budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
    • i.e. Manufacturing, Professional Services, SaaS, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Education, Hospitality, Retail etc.
  • Familiarity with Workforce Planning (WFP), CapEx, Month-End Close, Financial Consolidation, and Vertical Performance Management themes
  • Sales Team Hours:  direct support of North America based resources and occasional support of UK and AUS based resources
    • Readily available for urgent support needs with fast turnaround expectations to prevent Sales team demo disruptions
  • Strong communication skills and a self-learner mindset; sense of initiative and perseverance to deliver high quality work within assigned timeframes

Pay Transparency Statement
