Additionally, you will integrate market research with product research to ensure that our products align with market needs, driving significant growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a robust mixed-method research toolkit and experience in developing business-level strategies and vision in close collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Product, and Finance. • Conduct SWOT analysis, market positioning maps, and competitive benchmarking to guide product and business strategies.
  • Identify and interpret emerging trends that could impact product strategy, ensuring the company stays ahead in the market.
  • Develop detailed customer personas based on demographic, psychographic, and behavioral criteria to better target and understand our audience
  • As the team grows, mentor and coach junior researchers and manage research contractors, fostering a culture of high-quality research output and continuous development.

Here is what we’re looking for in a candidate:

  • Expert-level understanding of various research methods, with a focus on market research techniques such as competitive analysis, consumer segmentation, and trend forecasting, alongside usability testing, user interviews, and journey mapping.
  • A track record of executing both qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Proven ability to synthesize and communicate research findings effectively across cross-functional teams, advocating for user and market needs, and translating insights into impactful product and marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership with people management skills, including mentoring and developing researchers and managing contractors.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to navigate complexity and ambiguity, while thinking strategically and solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
