Subvrsive is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Finance team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for daily accounting activities such as accounts payable, travel, purchasing, reconciliation, and financial reporting. We’re looking for someone who has a knack for data and a passion for customer service. 

Our ideal candidate would be able to:

  • Assist in the day to day administrative support and reporting for the Finance team
  • Prepare and/or update financial schedules using Excel/Google Sheets. 
  • Assist in monthly close and forecast process by updating financial schedules, compiling financial reporting packages and providing variance analysis assistance.
  • Compile and distribute monthly reports to department heads.
  • Prepare, assemble, track, and provide client invoices/billing documents.
  • Process and distribute monthly WIP worksheets to appropriate department leads.
  • Research and respond to billing issues timely and effectively.
  • Manage vendor and contractor set ups and reconciliations.
  • Take initiative and work independently.

Qualifications include (but are not limited to):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, ability to handle formula errors) and Google Suite (Sheets).
  • Proficient in Quickbooks Online
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Now that offices are fully open, we have embraced a hybrid working model which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations–something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Subvrsive will involve working from the office for an average of 4 days per week for most people.
