Role Summary:
As a Designer, you will help curate and design content in the print, digital and social function - predominantly in the retail industry. You should have a strong understanding of print, digital and social space, the design and production requirements.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Design strong, effective design for high frequency, multi platform content
- Brand guardianship, ownership of the client’s identity and brand voice
- Hands-on design, follow through to the production of the deliverables, with a deep understanding of the working processes
- Understanding the value of design and brand within a business context
- Bringing original ideas and a compelling point of view to design and develop strategic presentations and ideation sessions
- Partnering the creative and brand team to work through team dynamics, clients and timelines to deliver exceptional design
- Supporting and inspiring teams through collaboration, concept directions and planning visual deliverables
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years working within Design role, ideally within advertising, design agencies or in-house creative team
- An ability to communicate with consumers via compelling, creative story telling
- Broad background in design and creative that spans across all mediums
- Strong craft and problem solving skills
- Presentation skills will be a good to have
- You should be an enthusiastic collaborator, and be open to other people’s ideas. But at the same time, you need to show initiative and have accountability for the stories you’re telling
- Have a keen understanding of local market creative and cultural nuances
