A Hybrid working model

Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 50% of the time for most people. What does a Senior Finance Manager do at Hogarth? 

The Commercial Finance Manager oversees the client reporting for Hogarth. This role will be working with the Commercial Finance Director and interacting with our global client. We are looking for a strategic and operational analyst that is able to adapt to a rapid fire environment and provide complex reporting. Ideal candidate will also be able to manage client interactions and presentations. This is a one year fixed term contract. starting in November. 

Responsibilities:

  • Run daily, weekly, quarterly, & annual reports from multiple systems and reconcile data to produce results.
  • Lead and manage the month end process, actual variances to budget & forecasting through the fiscal year.
  • Work with Commercial Director on client facing rate cards & analyse the financial impact to Hogarth.
  • Assist in the creating of various KPI and QBR presentations with guidance from management.
  • Continually work to identify new opportunities to provide valuable metrics to the business.
  • Manage data integrity and cleanliness.
  • Maintain/update sales reports/dashboards.
  • Produce and publish a calendar of department deliverables - ensure we remain on target to those dates and that we have the required input from key stakeholders to hit these key dates; communicate to Sales Ops leadership if due dates are at risk with a plan of action to get back on track
  • Researches and evaluates current economic conditions that may affect the organization's ability to sell its products or services in the marketplace.
  • Understanding of commercial transactions

Requirements

  • Experienced in performing financial or data analysis
  • A fully qualified accountant with ideally 3 years PQE, can be ACA, ACCA or CIMA 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Expert level of usage of Microsoft Excel with strong ability to automate reports (pivots, vlookups, macros, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in MS Office suite and Mac required
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work well with others at all levels of the operation
  • Ability to deal with a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Proven project management skills with multiple, complex projects
  • Experience supporting several functional organisations; knowledge and understanding of key metrics driving a sales environment
  • Understanding of the people, processes, technology issues within an enterprise level corporation.
  • Understands how business process impacts reporting
  • Strong multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects without supervision
