What does a Partner Asset Manager do at Hogarth?
Our client is one of the world’s most recognised brands. A global technology company who consistently delivers innovation combined with beautiful design. The successful candidate will manage the on-going production and delivery of promotional design assets for the clients’ proprietary media platforms. They will ensure all assets uphold style, technical, quality and project-specific requirements inline with design and operational standards, delivering flawless quality, every time.
The successful candidates will be the main point of contact for the client in Japan and should have experience working cross-functionally with the ability to collaborate with studio, creative, QC and Producer teams and be comfortable with high volume deliverables tracking and a fast paced environment.
Reporting lines and key stakeholders
This role reports into the local Global Account Director based in Japan. Part of a global team, you will work alongside a Partner Asset Manager based in the UK, and closely with Producers, Designers and QA Testers in various markets.
Key responsibilities:
As a Partner Asset Manager you will
- Manage on-going content development and delivery pipeline, reviewing all partner assets as per clients’ visual and technical requirements and guidelines.
- Identify any design asset issues, (legal technical or stylistic) and once full review is complete communicate errors to partner(s) to make full corrections.
- Final review and acceptance of all partner artwork and delivery upload to client asset repository.
- Manage communications and workflow, ensuring projected timelines and facilitating on-going deliverables production.
- Work closely with Cross Functional partners to manage and traffic incoming and outgoing assets.
- Ensure Quality Assurance checks and verification of assets throughout the production cycle.
- Report regular status updates to production leadership, escalate any production issues and proactively problem solve project blockers in collaboration with leadership teams.
- Maintain and optimise project workflow, project tracking, internal and cross-functional communications including documentation and best practices.
Requirements
- Bilingual in both Japanese and English
- Written and verbal English-speaking skills will be critical to success in role working with a global team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced content environment, ideally with an agency/studio background.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, workflows and concurrent projects.
- An exceptional eye for detail with the ability to work at pace whilst maintaining focus.
- Organised, proactive with good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Calm under pressure with an innate ability to see the bigger picture and look for solutions where others have not seen them.
- Reinforces team approach throughout production and day to day delivery of duties.
- Intermediate experience of Photoshop. Able to work with files for screen, comfortable working with Layers, Type and Smart Object functions, though no design experience necessary.
