The Role:

Hogarth is seeking an experienced Online Editor with a strong technical background to work within our busy post-production department. The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge as well as other industry standard post-production platforms and integration.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Finishing broadcast commercials for the Asian markets
  • Ensuring that all materials meet broadcast legal and technical standards
  • Possessing a broad understanding of post-production processes, including VFX, color correction, motion graphics, offline editing, and audio

As an Online Editor, the key requirements are:

  • Solid experience as an online editor in the post-production industry
  • Proficiency in client-attended sessions, with excellent communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, and broadcast technical QC processes
  • Good working knowledge of Mac OSX and file-based workflows
  • Competency with other editing/compositing software (e.g., DaVinci, Nuke) would be a bonus
  • Thorough understanding of video codecs, intermediary processes (e.g., EDL, XML, standards conversions), and other post-production workflows and services
  • Ability to adapt to new working methods and practice technology advances
  • Competence in media management and archiving of projects
  • Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize the importance of the work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Positive attitude towards problem-solving and tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a "can-do" service attitude
